When vistiting Dorado on my last trip to Puerto Rico, I found what I believe is a hidden gem, In el Ladrillo I had a wonderful dinner with My wife, the service was not only professional but non disruptive, which was great for us, as it was our anniversary, I food was amazing, and the menu was very creative with a great spanish infused recipes, I will definetly be going back to the Ladrillo during my next vacation!!!

We went put to try to go to la grappa but could not find it, so we went to this place instead. The atmosphere is great with local art all over an. Waitstaff that was warm and helpful.
Half of our party got the payella and it took a while to make But we all agreed that it was well worth the wait. It as the best I have ever had, amazing and plentiful. The other two in our party got chicken stew and beef stew and both loved it. It was just terrific and if I did not want to try other places while I here, I would go back tonight.
If you are fortunate enough to read this review and heed it's advice, I know you will enjoy the food and atmosphere.

I am not sure if it was normal or if it was because we got to the restaurant on the early side....but the front door was locked and you had to get buzzed in. If this is usual, definitely stick around for them to let you in.
We started with the calamari and Puerto Rican fried cheese. Both were very good. For dinner, my husband ordered the grouper and I had the Puerto Rican shrimp stew. Wow! Both entrees were wonderful.
The restaurant is a little on the expensive side....but the food was fantastic. I definitely recommend visiting at least once while you're in town.

Very Nice restaurant ! We started out with "Bolitas de mero" appetizer and had a great meal of Broiled Red Snapper. Great food ! The art gallery concept is really cool. I'll be back.
